Step 1 – Communication:
We pride ourselves in communicating with our clients through every step of this journey. From answering any questions prior to your purchase to communicating after receiving your cherished t-shirt collection and beyond.
At any time throughout this journey that you want to chat about your cherished quilt, we would love to do that as well.
Step 2 – Purchase:
What to expect during this process. After you purchase your t-shirt quilt or coat, we send an information sheet (via Etsy messenger) that we ask you to send along in your box of t-shirts. The form will have our mailing address and give you additional information of how to prepare your shirts for shipping. It also has some economical suggestions for mailing your t-shirt collection to us. You are also given the opportunity to choose the quilt pattern that you would like quilted on your special quilt.
Step 3 – Creating Virtual Quilt Picture:
The journey of your modern-day time capsule, t-shirt quilt or coat, begins when we get your shirts. We will take pictures and make a virtual quilt/coat picture for you that is send via this Etsy message system. That gives you the opportunity to make any changes that you want before we cut any shirts. This is your special quilt and we want it to meet your expectations. Once you approve the layout and you let us know, we will get started on your quilt.
Step 4 – Binding/Edge Fabric Color Choice:
Once the top is finished, we will send you pictures and you will have the opportunity to pick the color of binding/edge fabric that you would like. We take some pics of the choices that I have on hand next to the quilt for a truer color image. If you have a different color in mind for the binding/edge fabric, just let us know and we will get it.
Step 5 – The Finishing Touches:
Then we will get your quilt, quilted; send you final pics and get it mailed back to you.
